The Significance of Women’s History Month

Women’s History Month is a celebration of the achievements of women throughout history and an opportunity to recognize the ongoing struggle for gender equality. It is a time to honor the resilience and strength of women, and to recognize the challenges they have faced and continue to face. This month is dedicated to recognizing the contributions of women in history, empowering women around the world, and celebrating the strength of women everywhere.

A Celebration of Past Voices & Strength

Women’s History Month is a time of celebration and reflection as we recognize and honor the accomplishments and contributions of women throughout history. This month is especially significant as we celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amendment and the right of women to vote. We raise awareness of the progress that has been made and the progress that still needs to be made to achieve full equality for women.

Women’s History Month is also a time to reflect on the life-changing, liberating, and empowering aspects of being a woman. We celebrate unique, individual stories of women and the collective story of how women have come together to make a difference in the world. This month is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of birth, and your birth journey.
